Cancellation Policy
Trainings or Courses

When you submit any payments to Vermont Holistic Bodywork (VHB) for trainings or courses, you are agreeing to the following:

-
A deposit is required to secure your space in the course. *(VSAC applicants see below)
-
All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
-
If you cancel your registration more than 1 month before the course starts, I will refund 80% of any payments made beyond the deposit OR transfer 100% of the payments to credit for another course or bodywork session with me (credit must be used within 2 years).
-
If you cancel your registration between 1 month and 1 week before the course starts, 80% of any payments made can be transferred to credit for any future training I hold (credit must be used within 2 years)
-
Cancelling within 1 week or no-showing the course results in complete forfeiture of any payments. No refunds or credit will be given.
-
If you have to cancel due to a serious emergency, let me know and I will do my best to accommodate. It is up to me to make a final decision on whether to alter these rules.
-
Once the course has started, no refunds or credit will be given if you decide to leave.
-
If we have set up a payment plan, all payments must be made by the agreed upon date. If payments are missed, and no solution is agreed on, VHB has the right to cancel your registration and retain your deposit.
-
If you have an outstanding balance following completion of a course, and you do not make your payments in the agreed upon timeframe, legal action will ensue and you will not be welcome to take future courses with me until outstanding balances have been paid off.
-
If I deem your behavior in the training to be inappropriate, I reserve the right to ask you to leave. No refunds or credits will be given in this circumstance.
-
If VHB cancels the course for any reason, all payments will be refunded.

*Rules Specific to VSAC Grant Applicants
If you are applying for a VSAC grant...
-
A deposit is still required to hold your space. VSAC funds are only disbursed to me IF you show up to the course and I mark you 'present'. These deposits provide me with some security that you will show up.
-
The deposits are refundable if you show up to the course, at which point VSAC will disburse your funds (assuming the grant covers the full tuition).
-
The deposits are refundable if you are not awarded a VSAC grant, and you were dependent on the grant to attend.
- The deposits are non-refundable if you cancel your registration for any other reason or no-show the course.
- Once VSAC grants have been disbursed, they can not be returned if you leave the course.
